ABOUT BAAC

We solve the hard part of getting connected.

From the first feasibility question to the utilities in the ground, BAAC is the Calgary based team that plans, builds, and maintains the infrastructure projects depend on.

OUR STORY

How we got here

Founded in Calgary in 2023, BAAC began in deep and shallow utility construction with a focus on practical solutions and dependable execution. Today, we’re building on that foundation to develop the fiber networks powering the future of connectivity.

2023

Founded in Calgary

BAAC began in utility construction, building the foundation for our future in telecommunications platform.

2024

Building Critical Connections

Continued to expand our fiber infrastructure, bringing our utility construction experience to the networks connecting communities and businesses.

2025

A Broader Vision

Extended our reach into the United States and expanded our capabilities across fiber feasibility, route development, design, construction, and operations.

2026

350+ km and Counting

Over 350 km of fiber deployed this year as we continue building toward our vision of owning and operating long-haul dark fiber networks.

Route and carrier diversity, engineered as a structural requirement, not a preference.

We act as a carrier neutral advisor, so our recommendations are about what your project needs, not who we're aligned with.

WHY BAAC

How we show up

Seven things clients can count on, on every project.

Honest

Straightforward findings, even when the answer is "this route isn't feasible."

Neutral

No carrier, equipment maker, or contractor affiliation.

Personal

A dedicated team that knows your project, not a rotating cast of account reps.

Owned and operated

We own and operate our own long haul dark fiber network, not someone else's capacity resold.

Tech forward

Modern route and diversity analysis, applied to hard terrain.

Small team, less friction

Direct access to the people doing the work, not a ticket queue.

Speed to deployment

Parallel workstreams instead of sequential handoffs.
